Matthias Naab is a software architect at the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (IESE) in Kaiserslautern and has headed the department for “Architecture-Centric Engineering” for the last 5 years. Now, he is responsible for the division of information systems. He is responsible for the development of methods for software architecture and for the development of digital ecosystems and consulting projects for customers from industry. For several years, he supported multiple companies with their strategies for platform economy and digital ecosystem and the realization of those strategies. He has a strong focus on the integrated development of business aspects, user experience, and software architecture. He loves sharing his experiences about pragmatic architecting at conferences.
